Users of the much maligned Windows Vista operating system are counting down the days until October 22, 2009, the date that Microsoft will release Vista’s replacement, Windows 7. From June 26, 2009 through July 11, 2009, they may order these editions at half the product’s list price. The Home Premium edition, regularly $119.99, sells for $49; the Professional edition, regularly $199.99, sells for $99.
